IT’S EXCITING TO MAKE THE FINALS!
We keep it simple and fair. What do you need to know?
Who doesn't love the opportunity to take out the end of season glory, with drink bottle grand final prizes on the line. All teams are expected to play in finals should they finish in top 4, as determined by the ladder for the competition. Note: Finals are not optional, failure to pay and take the court results in a forfeit fee as incurred throughout the season for non attendance to a fixtured game.
Player Qualification
All players taking the court need to have played 2 physically played games for a 12-round season and 3 physically played games for a 16-round season. It does not include forfeits and byes.
This is all recorded by checking in weekly via Stack Team App. (It is the individual players responsibility to check in. If you have any questions about the app or checking in let your evening coordinator help you or email contact@melbournesocialnetball.com.au)
Captains are emailed a list of qualified players before the finals. Please have your ID ready.
Finals Matches
Payment for finals is required, unless you have a credit from a bye throughout your season, Complete Game Payment $90 (game + umpire) prior to game and show receipt to the evening coordinator as well as emailing contact@melbournesocialnetball.com.au
Finals Structure
Semi Final Teams: 1 v 4 + 2 v 3
Grand Final Teams: Winner of 1 v 4 plays Winner of 2 v 3
Players are required to take part with a sportsmanlike manner that is part of the netball game. Umpires will apply discipline rules as needed.
